Südtiroler Handballauswahl was the only club from Italy that had teams playing during 31. Internationales Schmelzturnier 2024. They participated with two teams in M 2008 (and younger) and W 2008 (and younger) respectively. The team in W 2008 (and younger) made it to the the Final in Playoff Aand won it over UHC Eggenburg by 13-3.
In addition to this, Südtiroler Handballauswahl have participated in 31. Internationales Schmelzturnier before. During 31. Internationales Schmelzturnier 2023, Südtiroler Handballauswahl had two teams playing in MJ 2007 (and younger) and WJ 2007 (and younger) respectively. Two teams played until Bronze match in Plätze 1-4; MJ 2007 (and younger) lost against Union West Wien by 10-13 and WJ 2007 (and younger) lost against UHC Gänserndorf by 5-9.
